Seven Dates: interactive monodrama

I wrote “Seven dates” in 2019, inspired by various theories of life cycles, historical synchronicities in my own life and a series of internal journeys/meditations. In this interactive monodrama I have depicted the life of a woman in 7 year periods, examining her relationships. As a prelude I have shown two of her previous lives that are relevant to her character. The full-length monologue deals with issues of femininity and reconciliation both from an individual and collective perspective.

The play can be performed with a minimum amount of props, indoors or outdoors (e.g. in galleries, forests, private houses) In 2020 I spent a quiet year creating, writing and editing. And I met some wonderful, authentic and committed people to assist the creative process. 17th April 2021 was the day of the premiere in a lovely apartment.

We are planning to continue the shows to small audiences at various venues and even outdoors during the summer. Experience the magic of live theatre and the unfolding of a process of forgiveness that transcends generations and eons! Contact us to request a show in your house/garden/company or come along to one of the public shows that will be advertised as site-specific events!
