Story Tours on the Green
This fairy tour is going to be different each time you take it! We will head out to the lungs of Budapest, a lovely island (Margaret Island) in the embrace of the river Danube. First we will get to know its exciting history, former inhabitants and its role in society during an easy walk. Then we will find a spot to settle down around a magic box which will reveal colourful cards showing images and life situations. They reflect emotional states and you will be drawn to some of them, so you can select a few.
We will pick one and you will hear a Hungarian folk tale that addresses the theme or has the image on the card as a character or location. The story will conjure a smile on your face while making you think, laugh and maybe even moved as you recognize the human condition or even yourself or a mental situation of yours in them! Spiced with humour and some simple props.
The fairy tour could actually end here but if you wish and are interested, we will round off our experience with an interactive phase: based on the story you have heard, we will go deeper into the personal meaning of images and symbols, examining some elements that you have enjoyed or which have aroused your attention.

After the conversation we will see the cards that you have picked and create a story based on them, with methods of improvisation theatre or, if you are less inclined to act or speak out loud, we will write a one-minute piece. So you will leave the tour with an own story under your belt!
