On this quiz tour in the Castle District we will go beyond the curtains and after comprehending 1000 years of national and world history, we will examine the representations and symbols related to the most formative periods (Gothic alcoves, equestrian statues, folk motifs, etc.)
You will learn about the elements of culture on the spot and then you’ll need to find out more about them, detecting their exact location in the Castle Area’s intriguing streets within a certain timeframe, which will be rewarded by a delicacy.
We will go underground as well to encounter even more secrets. The tour will start at the iconic Matthias Church and you will not miss out on a lovely view of the city with the Danube winding its way through, but after these emblematic sights we will delve into the excitement of deeper discovery, getting to know the part of the Castle Area where much fewer tourists ramble so we have the space to truly experience it.
